July
“Long light, warm air, and fields in color — July is abundance made visible.”
July in the Northland
July stands at the height of summer in the Northland. Forests are lush and full, gardens burst with color, and warm evenings stretch long beneath glowing skies. It feels as though creation has reached its crescendo — vibrant, fragrant, and alive in every direction.
From brilliant rainbows after a passing storm to roses blooming along quiet paths, beauty is not hidden. It surrounds us. July invites us to slow down and truly see what has flourished. The pace of summer can be busy, yet the landscape gently urges us to pause and take it in.
“Yet, O Lord, you are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.” — Isaiah 64:8
Every petal, every sunset, every carefully formed cloud reflects the artistry of our Creator. As we capture images or simply walk beneath the summer sky, may we remember to linger — to breathe deeply, to give thanks, and to savor the beauty placed before us.
