Duluth

June 10 – Safe Harbor – Duluth

Day 161 of 365

On a warm summer morning, the Philip R. Clarke arrives under the Duluth Aerial Lift Bridge. This iconic view of Duluth captures both its beauty and its purpose in a single image.

From a world-class seaport to a gallery display of everything Northland, Duluth truly has it all. Hills, waterfalls, parks, and gardens flourish during the summer months, and we enjoy them while keeping an eye on the coming harvest.

With four distinct seasons, there is always one season to enjoy today and another to look forward to tomorrow. The blessing never grows old and is a gift to those who live here.

“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for He founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.” — Psalm 24:1–2

We don’t always get to choose where we live, but we can find joy wherever we are. The ability to enjoy where you are and be satisfied with what you have is a remarkable blessing.

Thank You, Lord, for today.
