May 27 – Carved by Grace
Twin Falls near Port Wing, Wisconsin, is a hidden gem tucked quietly along Highway 13. After a short walk through the woods, this unexpected cascade reveals itself—a special scene you might easily pass by without ever knowing it was there.
Twin Falls is a living, changing scene—no two visits look the same. For a photographer, it’s gold, the falls literally reinvent themselves with every stretch of weather.
Larson Creek slips gently over the sandstone ledge, falling into a cool, shaded grotto before continuing its journey into Lake Superior. Over time, the steady flow has carved this natural amphitheater, shaping the rock with patient persistence—a quiet reminder of both strength and grace.
“In the wilderness He struck the rock, and water gushed out; streams flowed abundantly.” — Psalm 78:20
What once seemed impossible became a source of life. In much the same way, God continues to provide in ways we don’t expect—bringing refreshment, strength, and hope when we need it most. Like this hidden waterfall, we often find His provision when we slow down enough to notice.
